Dress code and club etiquette

You are here » Home » Dress code and club etiquette

Erewash Valley is a true members club, wholly owned and run by it's membership. As such we take pride in our surroundings and politely request that all visitors to our club respect our environment.

We have a dress code both on the course and in the clubhouse copies of which can be seen by clicking the links below.

Anyone coming to our club to enjoy a round of golf must adhere to the code. If you do not you will be politely asked to change into suitable clothing, if necessary by purchasing items from our Professional's shop.

Similarly, anyone entering the clubhouse improperly dressed may be asked to leave.

Bad language and uncivil conduct have no place at our club in any circumstances.

Mobile phones should be turned off whilst on the course and must not be answered in the club bar or restaurant areas. They may, however, be used in the external areas around the clubhouse. Golfers are encouraged to take their phones with them on to the course as they may prove vital in case of an emergency.

To avoid any possible embarrassment, organisers of visiting parties should ensure that all members of their group are aware of our rules before they arrive.

Our aim is to make Erewash a friendly place to be for everyone at all times.
